About the American Economic Association Data and Code Repository

The American Economic Association (AEA) requires authors of empirical work, simulations, or experimental work to deposit data, code, documentation, and related materials with a community-recognized or general-purpose trusted repository. The AEA Data and Code Repository at ICPSR serves that purpose.

Only replication packages for articles that are or will be published by the American Economic Association’s journals are accepted. All such packages must comply with the AEA’s Data and Code Availability Policy and will be evaluated for compliance by the AEA’s data editor.
