Vision
The Center for Global Health Equity’s Data Collaborative envisions a future where data-driven solutions empower communities, inform policies, and drive sustainable improvements in health outcomes, creating a world where everyone has equitable access to quality health. The Data Collaborative will be the foremost catalyst for transforming global health research where partners will unite to secure and leverage data in new ways and lead the field in advancing health equity within low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Mission
The Center for Global Health Equity’s Data Collaborative convenes, consults, and collaborates in innovative ways with partners around the globe to utilize data for better health. The CGHE Data Collaborative’s enabling functions and services are organized around three key pillars that are administered and managed by the Center for Global Health Equity.
The Data Collaborative currently concentrates its work in three countries: Ghana, India, and Kenya.
The CGHE-DC offers a wide range of enabling activities/augmentation services to help facilitate your global health research, which include:
- Identifying data in low resource settings
- Acquiring data
- Curating data
- Augmenting and/or harmonizing data
- Analyzing data
- Creating open data sharing
- Disseminating data
