Careers

ICPSR is uniquely positioned at the intersection of academia and tech supporting the broader research data community. Our organization combines the advantages of a small nonprofit and the resources of an international research university.

ICPSR offers opportunities to support data-producing partners through project management, preparing data for secondary research use through curation, and creating software tools to provide broader access to data.

In addition, we host research opportunities, ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods teaching assistants, and internships — the common link is data.

Consult the University of Michigan Careers website for information about specific job openings at ICPSR. Meet some of ICPSR’s staff on our Faces of ICPSR page.

Valuing Diversity

Recognizing that diversity strengthens communities, we seek to create a workplace where all voices are heard and respected. Employees work in a relaxed, collegial, family-friendly atmosphere, offering flexible work hours.
